The chemistry is so critical
as it reaches it’s peak
We can’t help ourselves at all
our knees are feeling weak
The tingle of one touch
sends shivers up my spine
My thoughts are painting pictures
of loves splendors so divine
The shape of your loving lips
they melt me with your smile
The feel of your soft white skin
makes me dizzy for a while
Your eyes have touched my mind
it remains wide open for you
Touched by your inner light
that can see me right through
Hearts beat as one
in all our passionate flames
Trembling and breathless
whispering each others names
Sharing this special moment
void of all natural time
Whispering words of love
that always seem to rhyme

“Touched by your inner light
that can see me right through”
To me those lines speak of deeper things because it is indeed our lover’s inner-light that stays and lingers.
The poem flows very well and the rhyming was consistent, yet a bit predictive. I liked the way the title and the last line connect with the rhyming style of the poem – yes, love and the expression of love should always be in rhyme (or mostly, lol). A very nice and sweetly romantic piece.
Thank you for this entry.

Just so lovely with a tender flow of emotions felt between two who care so much for each other. I admire your ability to rhyme so freely, it's always been a struggle for me.
Best of luck in the contest.
Love Margaret
