Holding on, holding tight, to the one you love
Telling true, tell tonight, who your dreaming of
Let him know it's not his fault
That this, at some point ends
Not his fault but
We should be
Just friends
Author notes
This is my first duette... lol lol and did you notice that in the counts to set up a duette, there is no line with 5 words.... 9-8-7-6-4-3-2 lol

Well! I'm tickled that you tried a Duette while using rhyme. It's not as easy due to the meter count.
I found this so charming. It expresses the subject matter while giving it a little interesting twist. Love and how it must be embraced as friendship more than something else perceived.
You've followed criteria well overall. Thank you!

lol it's a 'dying rhyme' scheme, I just noticed no one else really rhymed so I thought'd I'd try it!
