I try to greet it's golden smile although I am slowly yawning,
open eyes now gaze, upon this lovely may time morning,
(not here forever but for now the day's here)
chasing the shadows, concealing things that we fear.
but when the sun goes to bed, the night creeps near.
Why is the day adored,
and the night feared... such a question
Author notes
'Here come real stars to fill the upper skies,
And here on earth come emulating flies,
That though they never equal stars in size,
(And they were never really stars at heart)
Achieve at times a very star-like start.
Only, of course, they can't sustain the part.
So are you a star,
or a firefly...such a question'
based on the short Robert Frst poem, "Fireflies in the Garden".
I have constructed my own poem using his rhyme scheme A,A,A,B,B,B
and adding a question at the end of the poem.
I am not sure if this is the kind of response you wanted but this is what I came up with.

Night is hope in peaceful slumber,
rest to dream of river under,
rising like a springtime flower
when sun peeeks close in eastern hour...
thanks so much for your lovely entry
