So ready and prepared, perched atop the window sill. The ruby folds over tender flesh wore thin with anticipation.
The ebony wings, fluttered through her imagination like storms of black rain. Each drop more glistening and beautiful than the one before.
The hair that had once been tied to neatly for her marriage,
had fallen in wild tendrils for her lover. Would he flie? Unleashed with auburn locks and free-flowing purple garb. Or would he walk like a gentleman, crisp, black suit and white westcut.
Either way it was too much for her to bear. Falling into the hardened emprace of wooden walls, she ached heartily for a child of the night. Some enchanted fancy she'd felt fleeting in sleep.

Wow this was such an original take on the prompt, so very different and so very beautiful. I loved it!! Love how you were inspired by conveying her thoughts as she lies there upon the window sill.. aching for a child of the night. Beautiful imagery expressed, so vibrant and sensually alluring!
