When Worlds Collide

Rage against the Sage,
The One who made this world.
With blasphemies of this age,
Rage is being hurled.

Moving at the speed of light,
Where time means very little.
Human will, 'gainst God's might,
To be shown as less than brittle.

When worlds collide, run and hide,
With Satan and his minions.
This collision will decide
About earth and its opinions.

When worlds collide, you must decide,
His will or your opinion.
Please come to Him, to abide,
Borne anew to see His kingdom.

Man versus God, insanity,
While the age of Grace ends.
They will be outside His pity,
With judgments He will rend.

"I against You, You against me,"
Fueled my maddening march.
It took You to make me see
My soul was so parched.

I moved at the speed of dark,
'Till His Light came to me.
The Spirit put on me His mark,
And thus had set me free.

Worlds collided, and I decided,
My sins He then hurled.
I praise Him, we collided,
Inside, I've left this world.

  • Most Magnificent!

I'm stupified over how I long to have the time to sit & chord out the "music" I hear when I read your odes to Him! What wonderful praise you pen to honor Him with your life's experience! I feel this deeply in my heart & can totally identify. This is a wonderful talent. To expresses the content of the heart & experience in a way that can touch the common man brings blessings to many. Thanks for the opp. to share this expression with you. It made my day!

  • this is beautiful, and sad as well. insanity in the world. it is so amazing that I read this today as I was thinking that we live in a world that considers war normal. just watching the news I am in shock but most are not. they believe it to be normal without question. morals and values have changed and now these changes have become normal in the eyes of humanity. how do you change them back. excellent write my friend and God bless

Insanity is the way to put it.

I have read that the world will end in a final battle, fought against God, the ultimate of insanity. He'll give them what they want.

It would take God to change humanity. Even then, He'll respect their free-will. To force His creaation to love Him would be a kind of cosmic rape.

      He won't do that.

Now THAT was a fantastic poem!!!!!!! I LOVE your poems way more than the songs... they just read different, I guess.

The rhymes and flow are perfect in this... the meter is spot on and the message is truth.

This very well maybe my favorite poem from you Bob...

    It's excellent in every way!
