There in the firmament luminance lies,
While on treaded earth dwell imitations,
Which seem to hold only false comprise.
Though within a truer substance is found,
Mirrored in heavens, apart from low ground.
While on treaded earth dwell imitations,
Which seem to hold only false comprise.
Though within a truer substance is found,
Mirrored in heavens, apart from low ground.

Prompt: Poem by Robert Frost
Fireflies in the Garden
Here come real stars to fill the upper skies,
And here on earth come emulating flies,
That though they never equal stars in size,
(And they were never really stars at heart)
Achieve at times a very star-like start.
Only, of course, they can't sustain the part.

So we are given hearts to shine
seeking foucus and common binding
within the gasp of heaven's mind
a simple grace to what is finding...
thanks so much for your wonderful entry

wow this is really short and at the same time it totally gets the point across while at the same time with really nice flow and I love your use of words. wonderful penning.. and beautiful imaging even though i didn't take the time to look at the actual picture you used as your prompt.. perhaps I will, but I got enough imagery from your piece that I suppose I don't need to. Either way, nice job!
