Adam Eves he calls himself,
but you’ll not be spat at
if you think it’s a pseudonym.
He’s into nudism.
‘Ah’, I hear you say, ‘maybe
he’s a descendent’ -- but
aren’t we all? Fig leaves
will never come into fashion.
It’s not the best place in the world
to tap out verse on a laptop:
private or not, it’s still a beach;
sand will find its way from a to z
and I tell him so. ‘A poet’
he says, without taking his eyes
off the volleyball players
‘has to take chances’.

This has truly left me puzzled. Perhaps the caffeine hasn't kicked in yet as I have had a late start.
I like the puzzling, riddling effect of the words as they flow down the page here. I just haven't quite grasped the meaning behind them.
