Angels

Falling snow brings silence
that echoes the cold of loneliness.

Why does composure melt
when thoughts become isolated?

Is there not the knowing
that forsakenness brings angels
to give comfort to the soul?

    A delightful piece...

A delightful piece; they are there, to clear the way of obstacles; living in New England (of the USA), I've never thought to employ their help during a winter's snowstorm - so I'll have to remember that - lol; in either case, I'll still carry my handy scraper; nicely done. --Joe

P.S. I've never heard of the "pearlcon" form; what are the formal rules/definition of this particular style?

jj, more so in the past,

I have visited your poems, and had you as a favorite, but I do not seem to get any alerts anymore. But, I'll now visit on my own. My first point of departure in times of need is through Jesus to God. But God Himself did send His angels when Jesus needed comfort most - I sure you know that. See my author's page for more about the 'Pearlcon' - named after my mom. Thanks for stopping by. Frans

      My friend

it is good to hear from you. Thank you for stopping by to comment. I was promted by the first snow I experienced and by the time that Jesus was in need of comfort in the time just before He was taken away to be crucified. Love. Frans

      Thank you

I accidently stumbled onto this after writing a poem. I like its 'positiveness'. Frans
