The fire within me
rages on
going deep inside
hiding inwardly
finding a shadow
and resting
gathering strength
for it's next appearance.
Each storm worse
than the last
weakening me
His last appearance
left me without rhyme
and there was no reason
I feel weakened by it
and know one more
will finish me
but the beast comes
unbidden
he is me
and he will leave me
dead and dormant

fiery anger is inside! i find it very intimidating that you were so upset that the rhyme was put aside. for someone who loves to rhyme, that speaks in volumes!!! but, anyway, it sounds like this beast likes to store up the un-vented stuff. he scares me!!
