Wednesday remembers

I won't forget how to paint the sky
with Wednesday hidden softly
somewhere behind your mood ~

and an old wooded brush
that still breathes deeply
within my hand

curling thoughts and pieces of yesterday
upon a space I dare to acknowledge.

The sound of your voice
familiar to me
speaks in cosmetic tongues

showing me how to get back
to the girl I coloured in

with the windows down...
