It's Just a Job

They say a picture is worth a thousand words
Well here's a few you haven't heard
You think you know me, but you haven't got a clue
All the stories you've heard are really not true

Nobody asked me if this is what I wanted to do
The highest of all power said, this is for you
Here I am stuck in between
No home, no family, no hopes no dreams

You make your choices how you live your life
Remember, “free will” you have human rights
What about me I watch everybody else live free
I’m just doing my job can’t you see

Everybody wants to go to heaven one day
But no one wants to die no matter what they say
I don’t understand this concept it’s hard for me
If you believe in God isn’t that where you want to be

Yes I’m just a shadow but I make you quake
A single glimpse is all it would take
Lightness, darkness, good or evil its whatever you make
I’m only Death and it’s just a job for goodness sake
