Words to fill a wind
wishes to crowd starry night
like open palms the rolling waves
enclose lines of love, letters
I’d left in hopeful sands.

You do write the most precious things, in sand, on paper, it settles softly in my mind... sigh.

This is quite wonderful, and thank you for the introduction to Bandeira's poem.

The name written on the sand...another lovely Bandeira's poem...and you are making justice to his style. With your own voice, you keep that same simple and yet deep way of expressing feelings.
Brevity, what was again you told, you not good at it? I completely disagree

  • Such a shame to leave in the first place.

    Beautiful poetry.

    A name you say?
    Perhaps just teeth against lips,
    pursed breathing enlisting gasps
and it sounds like the elegant sonata
    when someone is in love,
but it is all just a name,
one we had a long time ago... Love, C
