Petals pressed
between haunting silent syllables
as red ribbon holds key to mercy,

heart bleeds
upon parchment~

Excellent. To me this is written about the bible. At least that is how I imply my own thoughts on it. And that is what poetry is supposed to do. smile. I have spent 10 minutes here reading it. I bow

Interpretation is the key to poetry as it is should offer the reader to make their own conclusions! So I am very pleased to hear your thoughts on my poetry and it is very kind of you to comment so beautifully!
      Thank you!

There is a deepness to this...even in darkness there is always that glimmer of hope, that relief of letting it all go. Lovely penning!

    Outstanding

This for me represented writing with all its soul searching. Sometimes it brings us pain but mostly it is exactly as you describe:
    Petals pressed
    between haunting silent syllables
I loved that image. Congratulations on the trophy.

NICE!!! This is just plain gorgeous.

  • Love the juxtaposition between the word/paper and the bleeding heart.

I love the ribbon marking that special place of mercy. A wonderful image.

    Good luck to ya!
