Today you told me that you love me
This says something but shows me nothing
Because if you loved me like you told me
You’d be careful with my heart
You can take it if promise not to break it
Cause my world could fall apart
You say you’ll love me forever
But for me that could be never
Because if you ever cared you
You would of never shared
You know that I’m a real girl
And I finish what I start
Even all my stupid faults
That night you said you hated me
I didn’t stand in shock, or disbelief
I didn’t wallow in pitiful grief
I didn’t cry to let and let others mock
I knew better to say forever
Because forever’s never real
Forever’s what you think and Forever’s what you don’t feel
So if you tell me forever make sure to try
Because telling me forever will only make me wanna die

Forever is such a long time, we always say that we will do these things and we will keep these promises froever but we cant because there are hurdles within our life that prevent us from keeping them sometime. but your peom is strong and grasping as there is alot of emotions in here as well as a story line. its powerful well done
