Amazed was I.....

Amazed was I,

to feast and read,

the legends and myths

unravel upon all the twenty-first centuries.

Heart Piercing Defeat and Glorious Victory.

Discovering our basic elementary  powers,

technology, green, and dna secrets of healing.

Ladders of life extensions to cllmb past one hundred fifty years.

How did they ever survive with only two eyes,

the soulful eye confined deeply inside.

Yearning ...quietly, silently, longing-ly for release.

It makes my heart weep for old granma and granpa.

Fortunate am I, to live outward in life.

Able to see, perceive, with third eye first-ly.

Not relying on two sighted judgement,

for the aura of sanity exposes itself vividly.

No need to trust learily, our third eye views deeply.

Un-able to conceal the fleshly soulful colors,

 revealing truth and dark, starkly.

Laws of truth versus Confession of deception.

My goodness how the soul can fly, potently.

Amazed was I,

to feast and read,

the legends and myths

unravel upon all the twenty-first centuries.

How do you suppose they ever survived?

Author notes

Contest Prompt; If i were born in another life, lifetime,
year or century ..found this pic..and I said, I agree,
it would be cool and much more efficient if the third
eye of our soul, was upon our face to see each other
and the problems we collectively face ...clearly, vividly
honestly.

very abstract and surreal.

that picture is really cool and it fits your words perfectly
I've been looking for my third eye. it seems to get lost when always putting others first. depending on how you're raised you sometimes never realize you have one.

I love the point of view, or rather the third point of view

  • This is powerful writing here. A great depth to this no doubt, that asks questions from us all. It asks questions in an abstract. The 3rd Eye, now there is a question. Yes, I believe that we all carry the 3rd Eye - symbolically - in the middle of our forheads.

That this 3rd Eye, also houses the spirit/soul of each person. To be able to perceive another person, deeply, with our 3rd eye, I believe, is where 6th sense kicks in.

We all have the ability. But it would be great to have a physical 3rd Eye, to use whenever we wanted to. Brilliantly-written Kathleen. Good luck in the contest.

Great write Dear Good luck Don't know the answer but we did lol.

  • But we do.

We do have that third eye, when we look into ourselves and reflect on what ourselves. When we can put into perspective the things we knew that went wrong and how we made the choices to correct them. Dumbledore always says at the end of the Harry Potter movies, that we are not defined by our talents we are defined by the choices we make.
