What Blows The Smoke Away?

It's a lovely spectacle
that shines through
the evaporating smoke.

Tears from innocence
are beautiful gifts.
A seemingly insignificant pigment;
a rose in a field of ash
blowing the smoke away
like a hard wind

leaving nothing but a beginning.

    There is so much truth in that statement. Innocence is a gift, and one we all lose somewhere along the way. And tears born of that innocence are more special and meaningful than we can know as innocents - but that we long to reclaim as grown men and women.

    Beautiful imagery. And your take on the prompt was ingenious.
