Who are YOU?

A question has been
Posed but
I do not think
That is has been
Worded the way
It should
For you have
Asked
Who I am
Where as I think the
Real question is
Who are you?
Who are you to
Distinguish between the
Right and Wrong
In my life?
Who are you to
Choose what is acceptable
And was is
Inappropriate?
Who are you to
Take the footprints
I have left behind
In the story
Of MY life
And try to wash
Them Away
Like the sand on a
Beach when a
Great wave comes sweeping
In, taking all that
Is left in its path?
Who are you to judge the
Life that I have lived
And will continue to
Live despite your
Scorn?
Who are you to point
Fingers and stare
And evaluate the
Mistakes I have made
When I know I have
Not made them
Alone?
Who are you to
Torment and ridicule
The way
I choose to walk
The path of life?
Who are you to
Decide what is best for
Me?
Who are you?
And what possesses you to
Feel obligated
To depict every move
I make?
Who are you to even
Consider choosing
Who I am supposed
To belong to
And who I am supposed to
Love?
Who are you?
And what do you want
From me?
Who are you to
Step out of your
Box and into mine?
The question here
Is not who am I,
But who are
You?
And until that
Question is
Answered I do not
Feel the inclination
To Sucumb myself
To explaining to
You , who I am
Because you do not need
To worry
About who I am
Until you know who
You are
If you become wrapped up in me
Then you and I become us
And the question
Then becomes
Who are we?
Since you and
I are not an
Us, there is no
We
And this can get
Back to who
Are You
Because I am ME
Not a WE
And I intend to keep
It that way
So who are YOU?
