They say when the sun
Shines
it brings
Warmth,
Light, and
Life.
But the sun only breifly
Comes out to kiss the sky here,
long enough to catch a glimpse of it at a waking hour,
Not waiting enough for it's warmth
to wake up and heat the surface of
the earth,
Or so that it's rays will
Reflect
and bounce off the crisp white
Snow and blind the eye with a full
Rainbow of color.
Yet here,
Where the sun doesn't shine,
And relinquishes at an early
Hour to the
Moon,
With the cold cutting the
Air, and the
Stars shine brighter than
it does in the country during summer,
With the reflection on the silvery moon on the snow,
LIghts up,
The air more than any sunlight,
And I feel more
Alive
than I ever have
Before.
