Graciously floating o’er the sky, her
Opaque face ever watching us.
Dancing through the stars watching her children
Dance ‘round on an axis of lustful eternity.
Eagerly looking upon us
So many expectations does she have
So much hope does she bear.
Oft does she show the steps to
Find her, yet so few take the portal.
They know not of the joyous feeling that becomes the
Heart when finally it becomes whole in her embrace.
Enigmatic are her ways to show her love.
Many have promised to follow her faithfully
Only a small number know her love be not dull.
Open your soul unto hers and walk through the cavern,
Now feel her love flow, gushed from her heart.

I love the second to last line. A lot of description in this write. And well done on earning the silver trophy. Twas yours for the taking. Great acroustic as well. Sometimes, they're foreced just so the lettering fits, but this one has such a great flow that i didnt notice until i read it the second time. Subtleness is the mark of a true poet.

I love it
This is wonderful! I never would have thought that the moon could have such a thing as a heart or soul. My favorite line: "Open your soul unto hers and walk through the cavern;; now feel her love flow, gushed from her heart." So powerful, the ability to open up souls ... very well done!

You are so good at acrostics! Every one I've seen you do you do so well! I just randomly came across this, I have no idea why I didn't see this earlier. Definately deserved the shiny silver!

wonderful creation from the word bank, made more challenging by your choice to construct an acrostic with it.
