Now all ye blind, rejoice with me
For there shines a Light from Galilee
Sickness wrought and death be stirred
Sin be cast and glory blurred
Where pain is life and death preferred
Out stepped a King who spoke a Word
All deaf forbidden holy sound
Incline thine ear to the Lord's renown
Pride and envy poisoned mind
Soul enslaved and heart confined
Mammon worship held enshrined
Upon His cross by these entwined
O night of nights, where it all begun
Sweat from his brow as blood would run
Surrounded by three consoled by none
Vexed in soul and a cup to shun
"Not My will but Thine be done"
Wayward hearts, Peace! Be still!
Here comes thy Champion to Calvary's hill
Holy of Holies, brought low to shame
Marked a liar by falsehood claim
But there atop my sin became
The Lamb of God for thee was slain
A rich man's tomb and stone be given
Bathed in spice and wrapped in linen
Glory reigned and hell was driven
My burdens broken, sins forgiven
Run and tell that He is risen
