The sun on the horizon

slowly tiptoes across the meadows

and begins it's rise upon the day

to set hearts a light and dreams free

solitary moments being captured

under the brightness of a freshness anew

tiny rainbows spill light from left-over dew.

Tiny, little water pixies laugh as they bathe

in psychedelic kaleidoscope pools refracting

Many rays of sunlight into a beautiful prismatic rainbow

A lover sighs deep to diffuse in the hue-full ribbon

a vision of refracted dreams, desires.

The pride and prowess of all the god's empire

Within grasp of the eager, adventuring heart

Capturing the joy of yesterday's sorrow

Always waiting and yearning for the dawn of tomorrow.

Memories merge with this magical moment into symmetrical magnificence

As the ghost of what is to come basks in it's great and terrible silhouette.

Shadow's againt natures' trees caress the horizons vast expanse of beauty

Perhaps even nightfall hesitates in its ill-fated duty?
