A fleeting glimpse back
  at a time of
        dreadful answers,
        rose up from
          the crowd-

Deepening the frown
        across your brow
          trying to recall
              the peace and
      sense of perfect
      unity of
  words and
soul-

Only then
    to be lifted
        back out of
          the fugue of
            this unworthy fog
        that quells
    the madness
within-
