Overheated, this room-
Pajamas too much for me;
There’s no fan in my room.
The temps’ in the 90’s,
And still climbing tonight.
That they still haven’t fixed
The A/C just ain’t right.
But I’m making-do,
Yes, I’m making-do,
Oh, how I’m making-do!
Avoiding the windows
Flung wide-open tonight,
What would the neighbors say
If they saw me tonight?
Can’t help the anxiety-
Nothing can amend
The state of necessity,
Having to make-do in the end.
In my ‘tighties,
In my white-tighties
Yes, my white-tighties.
Oh, my white-tighties.
Nights in white-tighties,
Overheated, this room-
Pajamas too much for me;
There’s no fan in my room.
The temps’ in the 90’s,
And still climbing tonight.
That they still haven’t fixed
The A/C just ain’t right.
But I’m making-do,
Yes, I’m making-do,
Oh, how I’m making-do!
How I’m making-do!
In my ‘tighties,
In my white-tighties
Yes, my white-tighties.
Oh, my white-tighties.
