Cold,
Old fellow,
Never walked in,
Vents, halves, beads of,
Effort, crumbs, or others dew.
Now rapid, hurried to,
Invent raincoats,
Events forced him,
Now abroad,
Try.

Nicely crafted acrostic, perhaps there could have been more depth to the imagery, but a good effort here.
