This day is not as bright
As I hoped it would be.
For my suspicions were right,
You walked away from me.
You found someone new
While I count the endless tears,
I am unsure of what to do.
This emotional scarring over the years,
Has made me into what I hate.
Being chased by my worst fears,
My stability could be a debate.
You left my side after so long
The ground gave out beneath my feet,
While my heart sings its song
Of untangible defeat.
Drugs are my cure,
While rage is my mask.
You will always be pure,
While living for me is a task.
You completed my heart.
I understand this now,
Though I didnt back then.
Your care I wouldnt allow,
When I was drinking again.
I apologize for my actions,
Though you say I musn't feel guilt.
My destruction brought on distractions,
From the successful future you built.
Now you have someone new,
That is not tainted and worn.
You say she understands you.
This fact I do mourn.
I wouldn't admit that I loved you,
For I also had someone in mind.
Now I know that I do,
I was just blind.
But now it is to late,
For us to be one.
So my fate, I will await.
Since I know that "us" is done.

This is of my ex boyfriend and I. he told me last night at midnight that he found someone new and he is questioning the feelings he has for me....

Oh I am so sorry
Its sad indeed and so many of us thinks nothing could take them away but we must remember their are other women out there who have plenty of time to play . I hope you heal and find yourself the perfect man for you one who will stand by you always and one that you will want to be better for yourself and see life as it should be seen .

I feel for you ...
but this wouldn't go far in my contest. My suggestions is to forget him and move on. There are lots of grains of sand on the seashore. Life is too short to spend moping on "might have beens".
