From the depths of my soul
the grains of sand
sleeping on the beaches
Cannot match in volume
the love that I have in my heart for you;
Endless novels;
Poem upon poem
cannot show you the gratitude
in my heart
of being able to lay beside you
day by day
week by week
month by month
year by year;
Life can throw whatever it wants to throw
Its hard to imagine
almost a decade ago when we met
and 7 years ago when we wed
seems like it was just yesterday;
As long as the sunlight still sparkles on the waters
as long as children still skip rocks in the rivers;
as life circles on
and our children's children
have children
even then
my love for you is never ending.
