I’m the Walrus, he’s the carpenter and we talk of many things,
Of times gone by, of loves we’ve lost, of cabbages and kings.
I sit here and I talk to the Whisky Man, he understands me well, he knows who I am.
People may frown and bring me down for the company I’m in
But Whisky Man don’t judge me and his friendship aint no sin
I look into the eyes of the Whisky Man, he understands me well , he knows who I am.
They say I run from this world and I don’t have a goal
But the Whisky Man fills me and he makes me whole
I listen to the voice of the Whisky Man, he fills my soul, he knows who I am.
The years roll by and life's shadows extend
Whisky Man stays by me , he’s forever my friend.
I dream my dreams with the Whisky Man, he brings me sleep, he knows who I am.
Through years he’s drained me this jealous friend
But I know he’ll stay with me right up to the end
Sometimes I’m scared by the Whisky Man, I gave him my life and he knows who I am
Now as I at last lay me down to sleep
I pray the Whisky Man my soul to keep.
I’ll travel to my maker with the Whisky Man.
I hope he'll know me better and know what I am
I hope he’ll give me peace from that old Whisky Man.

loved it, many people fight this demon though seldom do they win. its a very bleak way to live your life though it masks the fact. Good write.
