Marriage Long Passed

Waiting forever until he arrives
Standing, awaiting to be his bride
It's been many years by now
But yet her love never died
The pale woman in the beautiful white dress
Keeps staring into her hopeful sky
Wondering why and if he's still alive
Never once crying, though she did plenty inside
Slowly disappearing
Heart continually beating for only him
