My mind is blank
Like the sky after a storm
My soul is bleak
Like my slashed heart torn
My hope diminished
Absent from class
My smile desperate
An award winning mask
My eyes unseeing
Like that of the blind
My heart fading out
These ramblings of a disturbed mind

The mind
Oh how it can play games on us. especially the deep thinkers. It learns how to bend and torture us and yet the mask of life remains. Sadlyi can so relate to your words

good expression. but don't you want to cheer up? this is totally my opinion, but I feel like you should send something positive out with your writing. You have a lot of creative talent and it'd be great to see what you could do with some positive energy.
