It was a doozie I must confess.
How embarassing,
everyone could see it,
except me, cross eyed in disbelief.
Yep, I got tripped up,
by life's curb once again.
I could blame the angels, fairies and that damn George W.,
big sigh.... nope, it was those hiding "denials."
You know, the lessons,
that thank gawd.... don't apply to me!
Sharp thorns of truth that itch and bleed.
Tight jeans of decisions that won't zip.
Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!
When...will I learn,
easier to pause and reflect,
then to fall off life's curb.
It's those dirty little SIX letter words,
etching, and scuplting again!
L i s t e n
C h a n g e
and just when I thought,
I had conquered them all..
Along comes the piercing Seventh Torturer,
R e f l e c t and F o r g i v e.
It was a doozie, I must confess.
How embarassing everyone could see it,
except me,
cross-eyed in disbelief.
ever have days like this...when words are not enough.
apparently I am not alone in this.....gratefully.

blessings always and best to you in the contest~ Trisha
