For you to be my life and my world

Here I waited but only to find that you were already with God
I still haven't stopped looking at the ultrasounds
I still haven't redesigned the room I made for you because of heartache
I still haven't come into grips with reality that you will never show up
For I was ready

Its a very beautiful poem. The day before my ex died in the car accident she had the ultrasound and we found out it was a boy. I dont know what happened to the ultrasound pictures. I never saw them again. This poem really touches me on a level that is rarely reached. I'm grateful for you entering it into my contest.
