Woke up today again
with dreams of another life.
Dreams so familiar
so real.
In another life,
I am President of my country.
I see lots of laughter,
joy everywhere.
In another life, in my country,
I have marshaled all our vast resources,
everybody has food to eat,
there are no wars.
In another life, I am the Don Dada!
The Big Man!
I spread laughter all over the land.
I am truly at peace, in another life.

I like the message this poem gives. I wish there were more people in the world with ideas like this, the world would be a much better place. Right now the world isn't that great, there's so much going on that i'd like to change too.I like the line 'I spread laughter all over the land. I am truly at peace, in another life.' Great poem.

Hey! thanks! the thing that hurts me most is to see people suffering out of the stupidity or greed of their leaders. there is so much of that going on today and it really breaks my heart. someday, who knows, maybe i will get the chance to make the change I hunger for. be cool!
