To be able to grasp something
Means
You have the ability to fix it.
I grasped the sea
The rolling, tempest waves,
At the same time
Seven great islands,
Covered too in storm clouds
And ridden with mountains.
I grasped them,
Mighty hands clasped shut.
But the storms over sea and land raged on,
And I could not lay the mountains flat.
In time,
The storms made slow work of the mountains, and
The mountains made quick work of the storms.
Still I held them tightly in my fist.
I had watched two devils in epic battle;
I grasped
But could not calm
What nature could
Author notes
Somewhat about seeing through a god's eyes, but a very human, flawed, ego-centric god being humbled by nature.
I'm 16.
