Eyes of topaz

shine brightly in the night

hoping for tranquility

longing to be free

Tears of glitter

come crashing down

every hope and dream

shattered instantly

She watches them embrace

their lips pressed together

bodies becoming one

her heart breaks continuously

as he drops his wedding band

Creative take on the prompt - focusing on the eyes as she watches her unfaithful husband. Last two lines very strong, good use of a detail.
