I'm not a difficult man.
I have a simple plan but
I living in a complex land
getting along the best I can
but I'm getting laid off again.
The same sad song
melody
The same sad song
continuing
for way too long,
it always seems.
Things are wrong
it has to be
a tragedy that pains me
and claims me
by chaining me
excruciatingly
in mental bonds that drain me
physically
until I'm literally
on my knees
praying for mercy.
If that sounds familiar
then you too are a commoner
living in the war between corporate thieves
and poor robbers.
Forever switching sides to prosper.
Crossing divides for shelter.
Becoming innocent hustlers.
Befriending bill collectors
to avoid admitting you have no dollars.
Multiplying the signatures
at the bottom right of those rectangular papers
This is the life of a middle-classer.
It moves faster.
You want to look forward
but are forced to travel backward.

Very well said. The middle class is slowing disappearing. Soon it will be a lower (poor) class and the upper (rich) class. It is only a matter of time. How said.
