Have you ever been alone in your thoughts,your pain, your sorrow,
wishing for a resolve, hoping for tomorrow?
Bracing forth with passion,
falling back on pain.
Standing tall to fall,
with nothing more to gain.
Screaming inside, but crying to see,
I'll give you my pain, if you solve this for me.
No tender heart to care,
no words of wisdom to share,
no straight road to follow,
just the days past to swallow.
Give me absolution,
born free in the day.
Give me a day of euphoria,
down in the month of may.
Give me a chance to live,
born free and wild.
Give me a chance to feel,
free willed as a child.
I have my absolution,
though hard as it may be,
let god do the rest,
and let me be me.

I'm not a religious person, I don't believe in jesus christ, I just believe in a god, some times its easier to believe...now is one of those times.

This is a thoughtful poem. It asks some questions and there is a simple meter to it that flows well. I like the background too. The whole atmosphere is light, very angelic, well captured.
