Stone Gardener

Tears of moonstones
Fall from diamond eyes.
Silken strands of golden chains
Hide a marble face,
Ruby lips quiver
With the pain of stone arrowheads
Piercing her body,
Crushing her rock hard heart.
A topaz spark
Of a once burning flame
Ignites in the midst of boulders
That have tried to smother
The silver armored woman
With a steel gaze
And a sword that severs bones.
A garden of stones rise around her
As she climbs the growing cliffs,
Prepared to mine the very gems
That made her lose so much time.
She feels the rays of the golden sun
And welcomes the face of the silver moon
Whose diamond stars wink
At her solid determination
To stand as not a statue,
A rock that cannot be moved,
But as the living proof
That hope still thrives
In the softly beating hearts
Of all of mankind.
She isn't a concrete memorial
Like the stones of her garden
In which she was born,
But stands as a woman
Who came from cold rock And became a seed
That grew into an olive tree
Of peace.
Once the sword is put down
And all armor can be shed,
She inhales the untainted air
That dust and minerals
Have deprived her of for so long
And the olive tree is planted
On the solid ground
Of truth,
Faith,
Love,
And hope.

OMG!!! This was so beautifully written. She's like a different version of EVE in the Garden of Eden. I loved this.
