WolfHeart, I Will Endeavor To Answer All,
What is your favorite poem and why?
The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere by Longfellow, because it was the first I remember coming aware of poetry. It has wonderful rhyme and almost a musical flow in my opinion.
Are you a spiritual person?
Yes, we are all spirits inhabiting mortal shells. So we should endeavor to understand all things spiritual in my way of thinking.
I personally believe I am a spiritual person, however like the honest amongst us, I do fight my flesh in regards to some things. By no means am I perfect in any sense.
What are your short term goals?
To answer your questions, LOL No seriously, to get my book published have another book ready by September for printing, have all material ready for an audio publication by years end.
I should be debt free within a year and a half, which will allow alot of dreams to start falling into place.
All my other goals would be considered longterm I am afraid.
Are you a country boy?
In every sense of the word, however I am not a hick. I can exist in the city and enjoy all things cultural. But make no mistake, i am pure country.
What is the most important thing to you in the world?
Love of God, Love of family and friends, and to live accordingly. Remembering to have fun along the way, for I will pass through here only once.
Do you laugh a lot?
I have been told I do, some even think I ama funny guy to know. Always with a joke handy or a laugh dying to get out. So I guess I will agree. I do not know, send me a message and I will refer you to some who could answer better for me.
Do you enjoy learning new things?
Life is a constant learning process, academically or in everyday life. I am always reading and striving to learn. To be better for the promise of better days through better ways.
Is there a soft spot in your heart for animals?
For most yes, however there are a few I do not care for but do tolerate. Animals are an intergral part of creation as well, and should be accorded as such.
Do you believe some people can be inherently evil?
Only in the sense, if they give themselves over to living a life being evil. For to be so is a choice, a lifestyle. no one is born inherently evil. Yet I will concede some are raised to be so. So in that sense it is not a choice, however at an age of accountability, we all must chose right from wrong.
What makes you most angry?
Lack of equality, rather it be in the world or in my own life. Love requires balance, respect and equality to flourish and grow. Without it, there is a condition that develops where everyone's needs are not being seen or addressed. To overlook the least among us enrages me to no end.
Does the color of skin have great significance to you?
Only when viewed as an endless rainbow of God's handiwork as it was originally intended. I do not believe I am racist in thought or action.
Is honesty a goal you strive for?
Yes, it is, as it should be with us all.
Are you really interested in what I think?
Were I not, I never would have started the contest. For the purpose was to learn of others and to share myself.
How much do you read?
Over a hundred books a year on average.
Do you think each of us touches another life with meaning?
I think we have the potential to touch more then one with meaning. Fo some of us never touch anyone so. In my own life, I can point to some now, who have done just that, touched my life with meaning. I can only hope I have done the same in return.
Is material wealth important to you.
Would it be nice, sometimes. Is it an absolute need, no. i have lived long enough to know some the most unhappy among us are the richest.
Do you believe there is a higher power for all of us?
I believe there is a higher power, yes. He exists for everyone to come to in their own recognition, in their act of free will.
Do I believe there is an array of gods, no!
Do you really read the poems deeply?
Yes, for poetry is about sharing one's self. Rather it be life, thoughts or feelings etc... Therefore it requires an honest in depth look from the reader.
Do you fear growing old?
No, maybe growing old alone, but not old per say.
What do you want most in the world?
Without meaning death or heaven etc..., to go home.
