We long for love and seek out new lovers
Expecting new things that make them different from others.
There is no need to desire for girlfriends,
Or boyfriends for the girls,
The portrait of love expressed in old eras
Are merely drab paintings, Overhead
Murals reflected in mirrors.
Men search for a girl that makes the chills appear
Whenever they are around, no matter how near.
I still wonder if I feel it now, or is this just a new compassion.
Perhaps she looks at me
And inside she is laughing...
