With You

Sweet love! Intoxicating like a flame
That burns with passion in the faded night,
Far brighter than the stars that call your name
And glitter near the moon's translucent light.
I hear your breath, the gentle rise and fall
Is precious like the last lost hours at dusk
That settle into night, I hear your call,
The fragrance of a rose, the scent of musk.
Sweet love! You are the sunlight and the moon,
Apollo's fiery breath, the starry sky,
You touch me and my heart begins to swoon,
I care not for with you I live and die.
From now until my bones turn into dust,
I'll love you still and why? Because I must!

Please tell me what you think

Love sweet love, that is an intoxicating flame, the more you have the more you burn. Great line-I hear your call, the fragrance of a rose, the scent of musk. This stimulates the heart to welcome a chance to be so tied and bonded as one.

    Intoxicating

A wonderful piece of art in which you have penned so perfectly well the intoxication of love in the most brilliant way. "I'll love you still and why? Because I must!"

    Well done!

    Love

So illusive for many as we indulge in lust instead. But the words of a fine poet can bring us back to those wonderful dreams. You have a great talent poet

a beautiful piece, ah yes, that is right, when love visits our hearts there is not a lot we can do about it really, we have to go with the flow of it, we must indeed
