Alright, Here Goes Something, I Hope....

    1) How important is your family to you?

My family is very important, I have one son and one daughter. Richard III 19, and Cheyenne, 16. I will admit our relationship has been anything but smooth for their mother and I divorced 15 years ago.
There has been pain on all sides, yet we keep finding a way through the tears, doubts and frustrations. I have had to work harder at being a father then at anything else in my life, yet it is the most rewarding.

    2) Where where you born and raised?

I was born in Lufkin, Texas, deep in the Pineywoods of East Texas in December of 1968. My family moved alot, but the longest we stayed anywhere was in a town called Palestine, Texas. In my parents 41 years of marriage they have moved 31 times. Guess who has fingerprinted that furniture alot, LOL.

    3) What is your greatest talent?

Talent, amn that is hard. Jeremy I am not the greatest at anything, nor am I anything special either. I am just a man trying to do the best I can.
I can though give a pretty good speech when the mood strikes me. Prose interpetation, acting in plays etc... are all things I love to do and am fairly good at it. Great, no.

    4) If you could own any car, which would you pick and why?

Chevrolet Crew Cab Diesel, Emerald Green in color. Why, a man should own a truck, specially a country boy like me.

    5) Would you consider yourself to be an honest and trustworthy individual?

    Yes.

    6) What are your personal aspirations?

To get through all these questionaires for one. I would love to write a book one day, and to eventually make my living by writing. I would also aspire to write a song, just one good one before I leave this life.

    7) What drives your ambitions every day?

Right now the desire to be totally healthy again, as well as the thought of a certain woman who means alot and has great influence over me.

    8) What do you dream about at night?

Honestly, I dream of the future. A life I perceive I have the chance to live. One in which I am able to be me and to be appreciated for all that I am. Where one day I become all I am intended by someone special loving me unconditionally.

    9) How many countries have you visited in your life?

12 as of last count and 44 of the 50 states.

    10) Who has been the most influential person in your life?

My father, for as long as I can remember, I have looked to him for the example of how I should be as a man.

    11) If you could choose any other occupation other than your own,

    what would you be?

A successful rancher, raising cattle and horses. Yet I am afraid this is almost impossible to do on a large scale anymore and still be able to extract a living as well.

    12) What was the most beautiful thing anyone ever sent you?

A book of poetry by my favorite poet. The reason because someone took the time to get to know me, and then to give accordingly. Knowing of it's value to me and the worth it would assume once it passed into my hands.

    13) Do you have any uncommon habits, hobbies, or abilities?

None that I am aware of.

    14) What makes you so unique?

    Nothing

    15) If you had the power to change the world, what would you do differently?

Take this country back to its roots, aa republic born in the fires of religious fervor. One whereby men cared and gave a dang about their fellow brothers and sisters. One where a faith in God was not empty piety but a life lived that reflected ones belief.

For as God's role in this country goes, so goes this country.

    16) Are you satisfied with your life and where you are presently at?

Yes for the first time in my life, I would say so. It has been a long road to get here, but I am content.

    17) If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

To be in better shape, to have taken better care of myself when I was younger.

    18) How long have you been a writer?

Almost 25 years, on and off.

    19) What is the greatest that has ever happened to you?

Being a father, for even with all the struggle, it is the one thing that has kept me prodding along. trying to grow, to be better for the kid's sake if for no one elses.

    20) What was your proudest moment in life?

    Other then fatherhood etc...

I would say the day I first put on the dress uniform of the United States Air Force.
