Life is a parable
of lies neatly woven
into truth
We scatter like flies
seeking the ever elusive
esctasy
Falling everyone into
the abyss of materialism
in the valley of greed
Sadly when our life
approaches the winter years
we suddenly embark upon
the road that leads to truth
As the murky skies clear
and the lunar glare of
enligthenment peers through
we take our last breath
in clarity and vanish
like vapors

Very nicely done Darell, a little "tell-y" at times but over all a good entry here, thanks

I like the concept of lies woven into the truth.

This sounds like someone who's been there, and sees what a waste we can make of our moments. Words of wisdom, for sure. I like the take on the prompt, unique, and well written.

Great Write.
"Life is a parable
of lies neatly woven
into truth"
Indeed everything is part of our life, all rights and wrongs, ultimately leading to TRUTH, sadly we realize the truth bit late as put in the following lines...
"Sadly when our life
approaches the winter years
we suddenly embark upon
the road that leads to truth"
Words of Wisdom expressed in simple words...
Good write
