Mother Nurture





mother


A fireball
surged
A mere grain
What miracles could be
From that first tentative step
Intrepidly made
A Warming smile
Feeds a glowing ball
Gently nurtured
The meerest touch
looks in wonder
Gazed in splendour
at this glittering sphere
under trillions of stars fused
and played a harp
of a melody sweet
look  and marvel - So much to see,
So much to give,
So much caring,
So much love,
Tears
Only one
Sparkles impart 
shapes a heart
a heart of gold
too precious to hold
a treasured beam
here lies all life
in between
tears
Feeding puddles
For Shoals of fishes to glide
Too much to oversee, and take a glance
At So much.. love
creation
Freely given
That
Special
Love
That is
Seeded from a Mother
She is us
And we are her
To look beyond
In hope and prayer
We wouldn’t have
Made it without
Stood on the threshold
Beamed in light
Bubbling flames
Here is all life
Take your seed and
Give it flight
Truly ‘tis a wondrous sight
Memories flow
Come and go
Parties, friends loving smiles
Only one
Is all it takes
Carried forward in its wake
Cast your seed
And follow your dream
With hope and love and all you believe
All is what you can make be true
‘Is that you?’
the people cry
‘I hope it is’
Have a great ride

    This piece really touched me somewhere deep inside Libs. I'm not quite sure what to say, it just reminded me of the moment that you first find out that you are pregnant, a miracle seed about to grow inside your body. Truly wonderful, well done my friend

    A free flowing stream

    of consciousness. I like this work and its theme though I would eliminate the reference to the fire and fireball.

    luscious and lovely is this poem!

    wasn't this just a lovely and powerful poem, venturing
    us from creation to arms of powerful love, our mothers.
