I like my music
it gives me time to think
and I hope i never lose it
cause it helps me, when I'm running out of ink.
I sometimes listen closely
to what it has to say
and others it just lullabies
to help me through my day.
I listen to the voice
portrayed out from my song
it often leaves a choice
of where I do belong.
And I hope to hear God singing
in the songs that I will sing
'Cause it often leaves me dreaming
of how the world should be.
I also hope you hear my music
when I sing my songs to you
the truth with which I plan it
(the things i KNOW are true)
But if you choose to block me
to close your eyes and say
'this truth of which you see,
means nothing to me today'
then I will keep on singing
so you will hear the the truth

I don't think this sounds egotistical at all!! I agree with the ol' Welbster. It's your opinion, and mine too. Music is an amazingly powerful thing. I don't think it's corny at all. Its really well written, and it's cool to see you rhyming! You do a great job at it. I don't know why you think it's not good, because it is... Anyway, great write, God bless -Saab

this is cool thanks for sharing...yeah it does have alot of meaning, and corny is good in the eyes of those who know what your talking about - as in this case i think it is, sure, non christians will think its corny as they might think 'jesus loves you' is..but it doesnt make it any less truthfull
