The body is a temple
It's all that's really yours
Through all the challenges in your life
It sits back and endures
It nourishes and it carries you
It is not just bones and skin
It harbours all the beauty inside
Safeguarding from within
Don't give it away to the wrong person
Don't neglect it out in the sun
Don't fill it up with stuff that hurts
Because somethings just can't be undone
Make sure that you always stimulate it
With exercise each and every day
Don't forget to stretch your mind
So it doesn't start fading away
The body is a temple
Your job's to love and protect
So take good care of yourself
While having some self respect.......

aye the body is a temple, a lot of us shove loads of mad things in it like booze and drugs still though, perhaps we think we are immortal at times, a good poem

Very Good!
Indeed, the body is our temple, yet only a temporary garment that, one day soon, will be replaced with a new garment that will never fade away. Well done, poet: a great entry.
