It's time to dance amongst the waves
where little children feel so brave,
prying hands in and out of caves
these sights I save, these sights I save.
Upon the sand they build with flair
with seaweed castles in the air,
then stories told of maiden's fair
and dragon's lair and dragon's lair.
With plastic swords they fight this plight
the dragon slayed, their voices bright,
the maiden saved with great delight
oh what a sight, oh what a sight.
A walk under under suns healthy rays
collecting shells along the way,
then sunset glows across the bay
a pleasant day, a pleasant day.
To bed and dreams of sunken ships
tomorrow and another trip,
scouring shallows, take a dip
to sleep I slip, to sleep I slip.
For only summer feels so free
of days to eat scones and sip tea,
to watch the children play in glee
a sigh from me, a sigh from me.

I enjoyed reading this. It has a wonderful tone. The flow is lovely as well. This really sounds like it could be sung, be in a book of poems for children too.
I wonder, did you mean repeat "under"
in the first line of the fourth stanza. It read a little awkwardly for me.
I enjoyed reading. ~ Joyce
