On tender toes
she is elegance personified,
like a bubble she seems
to float upon a zephyr.
Across the floor
in pirouettes of grace,
an ethereal quality
glistens in aerial form.
Softly she dances
on tiptoes of anticipation,
with audience riveted
to this effervescent vision.
As the music crescendoes
the wisp glides the stage,
in lively rhythm she moves
in superlative resonance.
With invisible wings of a fairy
twirling in an animated trance,
she blooms under orcheatra's
frantic fingers.
The auditorium sparkles
with radiant energy,
as standing ovations
pulse in fervent cadence.
