Mothers Day, Oh Mothers Day
What am I in for
What treats, presents, spoiling
For me lie in store
I'm sure there will be breakfast
For me sleeping in my bed
Raisin toast, bacon, jam
And some rubber eggs
And lots of home made presents
They are such a treat
Candles, toys, pictures
Coloured in so neat
I already have a love bug
Made from fuzzy wool
A present from my Bethannie
That she made for me at school
I know what Samantha has me
A Candle for me to light
It was suppose be a secret but
I helped at Scouts that night
The house will be full of laughing
The house will be a mess
But I want to take this time to tell you
That I feel so very blessed
What am I in for
What treats, presents, spoiling
For me lie in store
I'm sure there will be breakfast
For me sleeping in my bed
Raisin toast, bacon, jam
And some rubber eggs
And lots of home made presents
They are such a treat
Candles, toys, pictures
Coloured in so neat
I already have a love bug
Made from fuzzy wool
A present from my Bethannie
That she made for me at school
I know what Samantha has me
A Candle for me to light
It was suppose be a secret but
I helped at Scouts that night
The house will be full of laughing
The house will be a mess
But I want to take this time to tell you
That I feel so very blessed

I must say this poem is something out of a Praire Home Companion show. And I really like that radio show! Cute, funny, warm and well done. I hope the eggs weren't too rubbery for you to eat. Blesss their little hearts. Audrey Evans
