I Miss Being Best Friends With You

It used to be back in the day
we would be best friends for all time
we shared so much together
always promsing to always be there.

Then when I moved
we drifted apart
I heard susanna became my replacement
you and her would talk smack about me.

It made me sad
I missed so much on the times that we had;
when we wrote poems about our friendship
we never thought it would come to an end.

I know I can never forget
when I look at the pictures
I remember my best friend
who promised to always be there.

After I moved
we drifted apart
every day since then
I wished the pieces would come back together.

It's so hard sometimes
looking at all the pictures
I break down and cry
wishing the memories never had to end.

I wish we could make more memories together
I miss everything we once shared
with every day that goes by, I'll always hope
that maybe just someday, we will be best friends again
like we were so long ago.
