Beach bums, parrotheads,
radio playing tunes,
sunshine, paperbacks,
lovin' behind the dunes,
seashells, surfboards,
castles in the sand,
flip flops, tank tops,
walking hand in hand,
boardwalks, breezy nights,
salt water flavored air,
good times, can't wait-
summer's almost here!!
Author notes
I know it is a little obscure for the picture prompt, but I saw the parrots, which made me think Jimmy Buffet, which brought me to the beach, which inspired this poem. Enjoy!
